Our Story
It started in 2017 as a coffee and food trailer. Traditionally Taiwanese fried chicken is a cutlet — five-spice, double-crunch, eaten standing up — and we made it the centre of a sandwich instead, on pillowy brown-sugar milk toast, with a chili oil we make in house.
“We built our following from a small pickup window just before COVID started.” That window became the shop on Buford Highway in Doraville. Now the same food has a room to sit down in on Jordan Court — about forty seats, all-day Taiwanese breakfast, and coffee poured exclusively from Cloudland, a roaster just up the road here in Alpharetta.

We used to just call these fries — then a customer said they were too “exotic.” Crispy, seasoned, and the name stuck.

Sauce game
Four of them, and every one is mayo-based — their words, not ours. A sandwich comes with a sauce; an extra side runs a dollar.
The signature creamy white sauce — the one the slaw is tossed in, and the one you’ll want on everything.
Sweet mango up front, habanero on the back end. It’s what the ABC arrives in.
Cool, herby ranch with a jalapeño kick. It comes on the side with the Wangs.
Sriracha cut with mayo. Side order only — it isn’t built into any sandwich.
Any cutlet can be marked Spicy or Extra Spicy at no charge. Want a full Legend on a sandwich instead? Lifeline or Crypto adds $2.12, Octane $3.18.

The Doraville shop is built around a pickup window. Alpharetta changes that — a proper room on Jordan Court where Taiwanese tradition meets a modern café.

If you’re looking for a really great (but kinda messy) chicken sandwich, this is the place to go. The food is really good the service is really good.
Highly recommend the Taiwan #1 Hot Chicken (I always get the crypto level heat) and the loaded fries. You will not be disappointed! It’s distinctive and always excellent!
This is one of my new favorite places to eat. The food is inexpensive and surprisingly filling. I ordered the ABC combo that I saw on Instagram.

Alpharetta is open Monday through Saturday 11am–8pm and Sunday 11am–4pm. Doraville runs Tuesday through Saturday 11am–8:30pm, Sunday 11am–4pm, and is closed Mondays.

Yes. Dan bing (a Taiwanese breakfast crepe) and the Eggcited Croissant are available from open to close.
Sage’s Garden Salad, the “Exotic” Fries, Fried Korn, Bae’s Slaw, Brown Sugar Milk Toast and steamed rice are all meat-free. The full drink menu — espresso, matcha, boba and fruit tea — is as well.
